Commissioning of a 400 tonne telescopic truck-mounted Gottwald crane with 130m hook height.

The operation of the 1000t truck-mounted Gottwald crane, the biggest in the world at the time, wins RIGA MAINZ an entry in the Guinness Book of Records. Uwe Langer was decisively involved in the development of this crane.

Historic deployment at the Deutsches Eck (German Corner) in Coblenz. With the LGD 1800, a reconstruction of the equestrian statue of Emperor Wilhelm was lifted on to the statue base.

Handover to the 3rd generation: Inge and Friedel Langer enter well-earned retirement and Uwe Langer takes over the company management.
